The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Center works to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for UNC-Chapel Hill community members of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. The LGBTQ Center offers support and advocacy programs and services designed to address identity development, leadership development, and relationship skills development, educational programs that strengthen allyship and on-campus support for LGBTQIA+ individuals, and community building through social and cultural events.

Carolina Pride Alum Network  

The Carolina Pride Alum Network (CPAN) seeks to foster community among LGBTQIA+ alums, faculty, staff, and students. 

Our purpose is to build lasting structures for engagement that support our members, advance our community, and strengthen the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

Upcoming Event: 

April 10-11, 2026: SEQC50 

SEQC50 marks fifty years since the inaugural Southeastern Gay Conference, hosted by the Carolina Gay Association in 1976. This event will blend history with the present through panel discussions, performances, a curated art exhibition, and opportunities to connect. All are welcome.
