Restoration of Map of Edenton, NC
This rare early 19th-century map of Chowan County from the Southern Historical Collection holds clues to the lives of people who were once enslaved on the property. The University Library seeks $5,000 to repair and conserve the map, ensuring that it will be available long into the future for research and teaching.
