Support the student-led free clinic!

The Student Health Action Coalition (SHAC) is a student-led free clinic that provides health care and essential services to uninsured and underinsured neighbors in Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and Durham. Through SHAC, communities facing barriers to care receive compassionate, high-quality medical support at no cost. Students from across UNC’s health science program (including the schools of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, public health, social work, and more) work together in an interdisciplinary service-learning environment.
