Every child deserves a healthy, safe, and stimulating childhood, and our work has been dedicated to making this experience a reality for all children. For more than 55 years, the UNC Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG) has worked to promote positive developmental and educational outcomes for children of all backgrounds and all abilities from the earliest years. We are committed to conducting rigorous, interdisciplinary research; informing public policy and supporting systems change; and improving the lives of children through evidence-based practice. We need partners as we build toward a future where every child has equal opportunity for health, safety, and happiness.
