The world faces many global challenges including climate change, food and water security, and biodiversity loss. For over 13 years, UNC Center for Galapagos Studies has provided UNC students and researchers the opportunity to tackle global challenges such as these through research and educational experiences, all while giving back to the local community of the Galapagos Islands.
UNC is the only US university with a science facility in the Galapagos archipelago, allowing its faculty and students to study and better understand, firsthand, how humans and the environment need to work in harmony to create a sustainable future in Galapagos, globally, and back home in North Carolina.
We invite you to join us Tuesday, March 26th, and make a gift to UNC Center for Galapagos Studies. With your support, we can continue to create the scientists of tomorrow, equipped and ready to address the complex challenges of the future. Together we know we can make a positive impact on the future of our planet!
