The Carolina Student Transfer Excellence Program (C-STEP) provides a supportive pathway for low- to moderate-income high school and community college students to transfer to UNC-Chapel Hill.
Historically, transfer students are less likely to graduate from college than traditional undergraduate students who do not transfer. Through our partnerships with 14 community colleges across North Carolina, C-STEP changes that trajectory by providing the resources, advising, and support students need to be successful.
