The UNC Claude A. Adams, Jr. and Grace Phillips Adams School of Dentistry is an internationally recognized leader in oral health education, patient care and research.
Since 1950, we have been providing the highest caliber of education and clinical care to North Carolina. From our leading researchers tackling today’s biggest problems, to our global faculty educating the next generation of integrated health professionals, to our clinicians providing comprehensive oral health care— our people are dedicated to serving North Carolina and beyond.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday, March 26th by making a gift to the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. You choose your impact by making a gift to a fund that has meaning to you. Thank you for your continued support of our school and community.
Initiatives
Support Our School and Its People
Your gifts to the Dental Foundation Gift Fund or the Dean’s Unrestricted Fund support new initiatives and provide solutions in daily operations and toward long-term strategic goals. These funds provide conference travel assistance, meals for students during CITA exams, student housing at NCDS Annual Session, emergency awards for students in crisis and so much more.
Investing in the Future of Dentistry
Our students and residents are extraordinary in so many ways; they are not only honing their skills as clinicians, but as advocates, researchers and entrepreneurs. Your support allows students to focus on their education, providing better care for their patients, and on their families and loved ones. Your gift to funds like the Dental Alumni Association Scholarship, Old North State Dental Society Scholarship, Alberta B. Dolan Scholarship and departmental fellowships allow us to recruit talented students, keep debt low and set students up for success in school and after graduation.
Service to the State and Beyond
Our graduates are entering a truly global profession. Our vision encompasses both local and global perspectives and aims to contribute educational and service outreach that will make a positive impact in our communities in North Carolina and beyond. Locally, our students provide oral healthcare and education through SNDA’s CAARE Clinic, SMILE Mobile Dentistry Clinic, SHAC Clinic, Pride Clinic, HSDA’s Vidas de Esperanza Clinic, the DYOR Clinic and many more. With trips to Mexico, Malawi, India, Uganda and Brazil, students get the opportunity to combine service, education and adventure while providing care to those in need abroad.
