With its integrated approach and extensive research expertise, UNC is uniquely equipped to conduct the interdisciplinary research needed to make significant advances in developmental disabilities. The Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities (CIDD) and the UNC TEACCH® Autism Program are two of UNC’s premier initiatives, dedicated to promoting research and providing services that enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
With your gift, the CIDD and UNC TEACCH® Autism Program will have the opportunity to expand faculty research, generate data for use in future grants, and support the launch of a new peer mentorship program for our autism patients.
