    Support Young Adults Fighting Cancer

Imagine being a teen or young adult and finding out you have cancer. While your peers worry about getting a driver’s license, college applications, or starting their first job, adolescent and young adult cancer patients have to deal with chemotherapy, fertility preservation, and a loss of independence. Because of their age, teenagers and young adults have different needs than other cancer patients. Cancer treatment affects your education, relationships, career, independence, fertility, and more.

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Program works with patients age 13-39 to provide one-on-one support, AYA-specific financial and emotional resources, and connections to peer support among other things. Your gift to the AYA Program will allow cancer patients to continue living their lives on their own terms.
